Pastor Steve Anderson

Pastor Anderson has been at First Baptist of Fairbury since July 1999. He and his wife Linda have been married since Aug. 1980 and they have two adult children. Steve was raised in the northern Chicago suburb of Morton Grove. He graduated from Bethel College in St. Paul, MN in 1978, and from Gordon-Conwell Seminary in 1981. This is the 4th church he has been pastor to. He loves to study, preach, and teach. He especially enjoys the chance to minister with people aged 1-100 that being a Pastor allows him to do. And, he loves the unity present within our church and the willingness of the people to go where God is leading even if they have never been there before. He hopes to meet you soon or to get to know you better if you've never met. |

Associate Pastor Daryl Evans

Pastor Daryl has been at First Baptist of Fairbury since April 2008. He and his wife, Deanna have been married since June 1993. Daryl was raised in Boyertown, PA which is about one hour from Philadelphia. He graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University in 2003, and from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2007. Daryl loves golf, biking, and especially being with his family.
Daryl believes strongly in the importance of discipleship and small group ministry, which was evident in the life of Jesus during His earthly mission. He thinks that one of the most attractive things about First Baptist Church is the warm embrace that is shown by the members there. He hopes to get to know you better and looks forward to serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ together! |

Youth Pastor Rick Williams

Youth Pastor Rick Williams has been here since November of 2006. He has been a Youth Pastor since 1999. He graduated from Massillon Baptist College in Massillon, Ohio. He married his high school sweet heart, Melinda, in 1998 and they have 3 young children, Isaiah, Isaac, and Isabell.
Rick has a strong emphasis on Sports Ministry, Evangelism, and loves Paintball. Knowing that Paul became all things to all people (I Cor. 9:22), he also tries to make sure every teen feels welcomed at First Baptist. It is his desire that all of our visitors feel the love of Christ being shared with them when they come to our Youth Group.

Church Secretary Patsy Stephens

Patsy has been at First Baptist since March, 2000. She and her husband Sam have a teenage son, Austin who attends PCHS right next to the church.
Patsy is at the church Monday through Friday answering the phone, attending to secretarial duties and greeting the many daily visitors.
Patsy enjoys her job and if she is not able to help you she can direct you to a resource who can.
